    Hello Pastor Anderson:

This is a very important topic, and one near to my heart.
My 18 year old daughter Karen Lee FitzPatrick was a high school student with a bold witness for Christ and encouraged her teen peers to be in the word, and living a powerful walk…on July 10, 2001, she was the teen firefighter of the four killed in the Thirtymile Fire, a story which swept the nation and remained in the news for almost 8 years. However..she still speaks to youth about her “Militant” form of Christianity which had to do with being centered in the bible, and spending that intimate “Come Away” time with Jesus.
I have been to and and spoken in ACSI schools and conferences..in Seattle just last October.
I love speaking to teens, general congregations, and ladies groups.
Could we talk more? I have two book reviews I’d like you to see, one is by Gail Welborne, also. I live in Yakima, Wa..but often travel outside the area for TV interviews, booksignings and ministry related to the book “Angel Promises…Remembering The Youngest Firefighter.” See http://www.youtube.com enter Angel Promises and also try http://www.amazon.com
    books, then the title
Karen Lee Fitzpatrick was a voice who encouraged people and youth, to have the bold witness and the active form of Christianity you are talking about. The book is a collection of her first person writings, and thoughts from me threaded in between, memories from friends, teachers and firefighters who knew her as a mighty young woman of God. I think this idea would be compatible ministry..don’t you?–Kathie FitzPatrick, author ANGEL PROMISES…REMEMBERING THE YOUNGEST FIREFIGHTER. Be sure to ask Gail about Karen Lee FitzPatrick.
